I'm Aulon. For about a decade I've worked in data engineering and analytics, and today I lead teams with a people-first approach. The lesson I keep relearning is that the hardest problems are rarely technical.

Leadership
I help foster team culture and people growth. I've interviewed 50+ candidates for senior data (engineering, analytics, science, machine learning) and management roles, coached engineers and first-time engineering managers, and organized 14+ team events.
AI Adoption
I help teams move from scattered AI tool use to a shared, measurable way of working. I've led an AI maturity strategy across seven engineering teams, built context and AI agents that save real time, and taught AI seminars to colleagues from every department.
Data
I design data platforms that fit the company, from ingestion to insights. I've built multiple platforms end to end, cut data warehouse costs, and delivered analytics that turned weeks of work into hours.

Empathy
Understanding how someone feels is the start of every good decision about them.
Inclusion
Open communication and mutual respect, so every perspective in the room, especially the quiet ones, gets heard.
Clarity
Simple words, clear expectations, written down. Ambiguity is where stress grows.
Systems thinking
People rarely fail on their own. I look at the system around them first.
Fun
Work is better when it’s fun. I try to bring a little joy to the moment, especially on the hard days.

Cherishing the people around me, and celebrating their wins, big and small, out loud.
My story
Senior Data Engineer
My technical roots. I designed reliable pipelines and the kind of foundational infrastructure that makes downstream decisions trustworthy. I also learned that good documentation is an act of kindness to the next person.
Senior Data Platform Architect
I zoomed out to scalable data platforms: how teams, tools and data flow together. I designed a cloud-native platform from the target architecture up, focusing on systems thinking.
Engineering Manager
The biggest shift. My job became the people: their growth, their well-being and the psychological safety that lets them do their best work. I lead as a servant leader in diverse, international teams.
